Re: Wedding bands (rings)

I think like 6 months before the wedding, unless you wanted something real different... there's a whole bunch of checklists and timelines on LIW if you wanted to search for them...

Re: Wedding bands (rings)

We already have ours ordered and breaking the payments so it doesn't seem to much $$ all at once.

Re: Wedding bands (rings)

We're browisng now, we're probley going to go w/ very simple white gold bands from Tiffany (in jewish faith you can't have any breaks in the band..

for my other band: I do want a bejeweled band too, I'm not sure if I want all diamonds (to match my e-band) or amethyst (mybirthstone)diamond sappahire (Jas's bithstone) diamond pattern,I'd like somthing unique but, I'm not sure how it would look w/ my e-ring....

Re: Wedding bands (rings)

i def want an eternity band but not sure about which shape stones. my engagement ring is somewhat unique and a regular flat band won't go with it so i think the diamond eternity is the way to go... I'm leaning towards emerald cut stones. even though there arent any emerald stones in my ering...

Re: Wedding bands (rings)

Darren has been looking for my band every night so far to get an idea of how much for the # of carats he wants to get me, which will most likely be a 2 carat eternity band, diamonds all the way around and of course round stones to match my e-ring.

Re: Wedding bands (rings)

what does everyone think of this... I absolutely love it, but it doesn't match my ering - the baguettes in my ering are set with a band of platinum on either side... should I match it exactly or keep them a little different?

Re: Wedding bands (rings)

I know I have just over a year til my wedding, but my FH and I were at the shop where he got my engagement ring and OMG.. I found it!! I don't know the going prices, but it was $450 and it's an antique band, which is also the style of my ring.. would it be insane to pick it up now?

I think if you fall in love with something, then anytime is the right time!!!

Re: Wedding bands (rings)

I say if you find the right one you buy it. We have been going back and forth with the styles we like. So as usual for us it is something we don't agree on. But we are very different in our tastes.
Hopefully I will drag him next weekend to look. (again)

if you love it I would buy it- that is a VERY reasonable price- I wont even tell you what mine cost- b/c I am sure I would get some comments- but I love it and that's what matters!
