Do you think dinner menus are a must? And if so, one per plate or one for the center of the table?

I agree, one per plate is good. Most reception halls provide them to you!

One per person and they're a nice touch...by no means are they a must.

I agree too, I think they are nice personal touch but most reception halls provide them. Also if you do, do them your self I say one per plate is best.
