no time b/w ceremony and reception

no time b/w ceremony and reception

my ceremony is at 11 am and my cocktail hr starts at 1 and they are 45 min apart from each other. does anyone else have a similar situation? we also don't want to see eachother before the ceremony so we will have to take pics during cocktail hr. Im just scared that our guests won't make it to the reception in time. we are having a very short ceremony though. what do you think?

if you're having a sohrt ceremony, you should be okay.... i am freaking out becuse i have an 11 AM mass----it will be at least an hour plus receiving line... and then pics... i wanted to try and make my cocktail hour, but it doesn't look like it will happen. i've heard that pics afterwards only take about a a half hour MAX so you should be fine! good luck!

My ceremony is at 10:30 and reception at 1:00 and the church and reception are approximately 30 minutes away. I don't think it will be that bad. I would think guests would prefer going straight to the reception hall and not find something to do with themselves during the in between time. I think you will be fine!
