if you bought your veil/tiara not at same place as dress...

how do you match everything up???

i have bought my dress although it wont be in until august. i want to go to barrons tri county this friday and purchase my veil and tiara. i do have a pic of my dress.... but my concern is not being able to try everything on at once to get overall picture.

did you have this issue??? or did it work out well with just a pic of your dress??? ty!!!!

I bought my veil off ebay and it matches my dress fine. My dress is pure white and the veil is white as well so there were no problems. I am going to oreder a hair clip so no tiara, but as long as you know what looks good with your dress you shouldnt have any problems.

I went to the place I bought my dress, with a camera, locked myself in the dressing room and took a bunch of very detailed pictures of it. I also ordered a fabric swatch when I ordered the dress... my dress is ivory silk and I needed this for color.

Then - try it on at the place - and try on some of what they have until you start to understand what you do and don't like... Then Shop elsewhere!

Actually, I found the tiara and veil I wanted this way, I wrote down the information (mfgr and style numbers, etc). and found the tiara on line, - the veil too probably (mine is pretty simple).

Worked for me - I was getting freaked out over the same issue.

(next will be the jewelry... a little trickier!).

I reeeeeeeally tried to pick out a tiara from the place where I'm getting my dress, just because I wanted that convenience. I just couldn't find one there that I was happy with. I tried on a bunch of them with my dress, so by the time I left, while I hadn't found 'the one', I knew more or less what type of tiara would match with it. I ended up finding one at Lillette's and think it will match fine.

I bought my Tiara and I am going to have my aunt make the veil. She will buy the tulle, crystals & comb to make it. She's also going to come with me to see my dress..

I brought a picture and had an idea of what would look good and it worked, everything coordinated beautifully!!!

i would try on some veils and tiaras at the place where you bought your dress to get an idea of what looks good with it. once you know that, get a swatch from them and bring it with you when looking for veils/tiaras. this is more important if your dress is a color other than white. once you make your purchases, go back to the salon and try them on with the dress and take pics!!
