Where is everyone staying for the wedding night?

I need advice on a place to spend the wedding night?

Seems like every place I've looked into wants almost $1000 just for that one night? That to me is ridiculous, I'd rather spend that on the honeymoon!

Any nice places that are cheaper than that?

Re: Where is everyone staying for the wedding night?

FH and I got a room at Hotel on Rivington. It's on the lower east side, very cool, new hotel.

It's running us a pretty penny, but nowhere near $1,000!

Do you want to stay on LI? or the city?

Re: Where is everyone staying for the wedding night?

We received a free night at the Fox Hollow Inn. We probably would have just stayed at my parents house if we didn't.

Re: Where is everyone staying for the wedding night?

East Wind offers the bride and groom a free room at the Inn. However, our family is staying at another hotel b/c they couldn't afford the rooms at the Inn. But FI and I didn't want to pass up a free room at the Inn!
