Re: are you bringing your 'good' knife and cake server to the reception?
IMO, if you're getting them to use at the wedding, like if they're engraved or they go with your decor and that's why you picked them, you should bring them, because that's the whole point. We aren't getting a knife/server set, we're just using the ones the hall provides, 'cause it doesn't matter to me at all.

I ordered my cake server set and toasting flutes from Vera Wang which we got engraved and bring it to my hall because I wanted to use them. After the reception they boxed all my belongings and gave them back to me. The hall will definitely make sure you get everything back.

Yes, I have pictures of mine when we were been toast by our guests. You should be able to see it in your pictures.

I say to bring it. What else will you be saving it for especially if it was bought for your wedding?

I don't plan on getting one, I don't think, but I am worried about my toasting flutes. We'll bring them anyway, I just hope they are careful with them. I'm sure they will be, but I had a friend who discovered that one of her flutes was broken when she got home.
