Petal Cones

I was on the DYI forum and I saw that people made thir own petal cones. They looks so nice but I've never heard of those things. Can someone please tell me what they are and what they are used for!!

you put rose petals in them and hand them out to the guests..and then they toss the petals from the cone onto the bride and groom as they come out of the ceremony
