Paradise Bridals?

Has anyone used Paradise Bridals or heard anythign about them? They seem to be the only bridal place on the island that has the one dress I really like!

I ordered my dress from there!! My sales associate was Donna and she was really great to work with!! If they have your dress then I'd recommend going there to order it!!

I ordered from there. I really liked the service, but am getting a little frustrated that my dress hasn't come in yet. I ordered it the beginning of last MAy.

Someone I work with suggested them...but said her only 'thing' was that they were always packed (which I guess was a good thing) and that they were always late with appointments...

Did you have any problems like that?

My sister ordered her dress from them and we got the BM dresses for her wedding there too. We worked with Donna and she was great. They just let us go in and try on BM dresses, we didn't have to wait for anyone to help us. I don't know about the bridal appointments though.

I ordered my dress from there and worked w/Paulina...she was great!!!

They told me that the dresses don't come in until 8 weeks before the wedding date

I wouldn't say they're always packed but they do have people in there, most bridal salons are more crowded on the weekends tho. You def need to make an appt to look at bridal gowns, and they'll set you up with a sales associate so you get personalized service.

Lauren, I ordered my dress last April and was also getting a lil upset that it wasn't in yet. So I asked them to call the manufacturer and get an ETA, I suggest you should do the same. Mine is coming in 8 weeks before my wedding, so I would say mid-March for you.

I used them for my dress and they were very helpful. As long as you make an appointment once you've ordered your dress then you should be fine. I had to order my dress hollow to hem and they measured me PERFECTLY, they were really great.

My sister used them and she did not like them. They sold her gown on her. She had to re-order another one and when she did, the dress was dis-continued.

Yes, on a Saturday, I had to wait an hour after my scheduled appt. I didn't end up getting a dress there but they were very patient with me and let me try on the same dresses a million times and also gave me good suggestions.

They are very nice and I know several people who have ordered dresses from there and were happy.

We ordered the BM dresses from them, had no problem at all. They came in when they said they would.

Three of my friends went there and loved them for there weddings. When it was my turn I figured if they were all happy I would go. I loved my experience. We got my dress there and the bridal parties. All the dresses are in already. They are very patient. Before I ordered I was torn between two gowns, I was there for hours. No one rushed me or made me feel like I was annoying them. Great experience. I highly reccomened Paradise.

My girls got there dress form them they are very nice
BUT you can only go in for a fitting tues and thurs I think till 8pm that cause a problem for my girls they all live out in Queens so we are not doing alterations with them
If you do get your dress there ( I was going to but did not wish I did) you get a 10% discount on the girls dress and they are one of the few places that has a LARGE variety of dresses.
You can also get your tuxedos at a discount as well
I think they are a good place

Wow - after reading the replies I'm hoping that they've improved dramatically. I got married August 05 and had one problem after another with them. It took over 1 year for me to get my dress and it came in very late so I had to scramble for fittings. Had problems with my bridemaids dresses as well. I finally had to get the owner involved...unfortunately, I would not recommend them.
