Ceremony at Reception Hall

For those of you doing your ceremony at the hall... how are you handling the throwing of petals or rice, etc? As you walk back down the aisle????

I have the same questions, I guess the first thing to do is call the catering hall and see what they allow you to throw.

Not doing it b/c my ceremony is inside...that would just be weird to me. I think it's only nice when it's outdoors.

we are hoping to do an outside ceremony (depending on weather of course) but I would do the rose petals if the hall allows it.

My ceremony is going to be inside so I'm not doing the petal toss but I really like those pics so...I'm getting extra petals just for the bridal party and will take a pic of them throwing them at us.

Mine is outside as well.. weather permitting, so I guess I should call the hall! THanks for all the quick responses....

I didn't have anything thrown at me because it was inside - and because...I didn't want to have anything thrown at me
Seriously, my reception was in the same room and clean up could have been a pain for the staff.

I am HOPEFULLY having my ceremony outside if mother nature works with me. I am most defiantly having rose petals. I think it looks amazing and there is nothing like it.

My ceremony was outside on the beach. We used bubbles.

We will hopefully be having an outside ceremony (weather permitting) and I am planning on having bubbles.

We had an outdoor ceremony at our hall and were not fond of the idea of having things thrown at us....so we didn't.

We aren't going to have our guests throw rice/birdseed/rose petals, instead I made up lil ribbon wands with bells on the ends that they can ring and wave as we walk back up the aisle.

it was great, not to many options since your instead that don't leave a big mess.. obviously this is for more the people on the alise then the other side

The only thing I was considering was rose petals...and I don't even know if they're allowed yet!!

Our ceremony will be inside and I think I'll be making ribbon wands.

we are having an inside ceremony and will do petal cones to be thrown as we walk back down the aisle...
