Cheap but Elegant Invitations?
Hi Everyone - I will probably invite around 165 people to my wedding (therefore, I'll probably need around 90-100 invitations). Any idea how much this will run for some inexpensive invites? This is one area where I am really hoping to shave some $$. I can't justify spending a lot on an invite that someone will just throw out. I do want it to be nice, but I'm hoping I can find something very affordable. Let me know if you have any idea how much this will cost and any suggestions on where to get them. Thanks!!

I have heard that party city has nice invitations. I have never seen them first hand so I couldn't tell you exactly. It doesn't hurt to go look.

Re: Cheap but Elegant Invitations?
I got my invitations at Jean M and I love them. They're super simple and elegant and we spent about $277 on 150 invites and response cards. They came really quick and are very good quality.

Re: Cheap but Elegant Invitations?
would you consider using a kit and printing your own? Michael's and AC Moore have several nice styles, some with vellum overlays, some with ribbons. That's what I did and they came out pretty good - - some envelopes had ink dots and I had to redo those but my printer is 7 yrs old so if you have a newer one I wouldn't think you'd have that problem.I chose a style from Michaels with 50 per box for 39.99 and used a 50% coupon. Now I only did 58 invites compared to what you need but the printing was pretty quick. I needed to lace thru a ribbon to keep the card and vellum overlay together. That took the most time!!
