I'm planning on having a garden theme for my friend's shower. Any pics or ideas would be appreciated.

The shower is at Laguna in White Plains. Her mom is paying for the shower, so I want us (the BMs) to do a really nice job with decorations and favors. I made a sample CP yesterday and it came out beautiful. I bought a big fish bowl vase in Michael's for $3.99 and then 2 dozen roses in Costco for $14.99. So for under $20 I made a beautiful CP. We only have to do like 5-6 of them, so I think that's a pretty good deal.

Re: garden theme

My mother and my moh gave me a garden bridal shower. It was beautiful. It was in my back yard with a tent. The colors were pinl and lime green. It was nice. I will try to down load pics.
The first is the cake my mom had especially done. Each guest had their own cake. For the center pieces she had just a glass round vase with flowers and pink candle sticks because the table cloth was green. For favors she went to a store and found little watering pails. she planted plants in them and they also served as place seating. They were adorable. She also had pink fans on the table. i hope this gives you lots of ideas Happy planning!

Re: garden theme

My bridal shower was a garden theme in the garden room at Pomodorino's in Hauppauge. The favors were flower pens, seed packet of sweet peas, which are my favorite flowers and wine glasses with hand painted flowers on them. They made a garden arch for me to sit under with flowers in it. I had a cupcake cake and each cupcake has a flower on it. They did mini-gazebo birdhouses as the centerpieces. They had me wear a wreath of flowers on my head. Everything was pink and green (mostly pink). They did an awesome job.
