Re: Engagement Party Favors

We gave a really pretty candle centerpiece favor to each guest that I found in PA while we were on vacation, and then we got lighters and I made up stickers to put on them with our wedding date (kind of like a save the date thing).

Re: Engagement Party Favors

I gave out heart wine bottle stoppers. it was something I thought everyone could use and they weren't that much money. I hate favors that I can't use.

Re: Engagement Party Favors

We did Save The Date Magnets (Kim Anderson... favorlady.com) and little Kim Anderson cardboard boxes that looked like shopping bags and filled them up with tule filled M&M's that said 'Sarah and Joe' and had all wedding-y things printed on them. I loved it! I would sooo do the wedding m&m's for our wedding again, but I don't want to repeat myself.

Re: Engagement Party Favors

Hey

I had my engagement party this weekend and decided to have one cookie with our names on it and the other cookie with 'love' written on it as favors. And it was a big successes with out guests.

The baker cellophane wrapped it and put a ribbon on it And only cost $2 per bag.

I had ordered 50 bags and the baker told me had made extra cookies for me and ended up giving me at least 80 bags !!!

The cookies looked and tasted great

When I get home tonight, I will try to upload the pic for you.

Re: Engagement Party Favors

Here's the way it looked all together- we bought the candles at Michael's for one dollar each and the labels at Staples and printed them ourselves- we had it as our centerpiece all day in the shape of a wedding cake on a glass cake platter and when people left we gave them one. The candles smelled great- got the idea from Martha Stewart wedding magazine but did it myself for a lot cheaper.

Re: Engagement Party Favors

Go to Michael or AC Moore they have a bunch of kits. I did little plastic hearts with almonds wrapped in tulle/crinoline.

They also have ideas on the website. Marth Stewart has unique ideas.
