You could use De nina a Mujer,
Mi Nina Bonita
and there's always butterfly kisses in Spanish.

I think i'm using Mi Nina Bonita.

I'll be using De nina a mujer! but Mi Nina bonita if also very beautiful. There really are not to many options that i have found.

We danced to De Niña A Mujer by Julio Iglesias.

As mentioned above, Besos de Mariposa is a good choice and so is Mi Niña Bonita by Lucho Barrios.

my problem is I don't have a 'mushy' father/daughter relationship ala Father of the Bride...I'd rather dance to a salsa with him, or a song that starts slow but has a salsa version, to get the party started....ya know

is there anything out there for me....

My mom raised me. I definitely DO NOT have a mushy or close relationship with my dad. THe song we danced to was perfect. The lyrics are not mushy at all.

your's is in the running...is there a salsa version though...my dad teaches salsa, so I thought it would be nice to dance part of it a salsa with him.

Oh, that sounds cool and fitting. I can't think of any songs because salsa is usually so sexual. I'll think though. Or try.

I didn't want a song that was too mushy either cause i'm not too close to my dad and my mom was the one who raised us. I've never heard the Julio Iglesias one, anyone have the lyrics? I also, wanted to ask...those who are not close to dad, did he or is he walking you down the aisle?

my dad is walking me down the aisle. he has tried to make ammends, so I want to respect that and him, and have him walk me down. it is a tough choice though, and you shouldn't let anything but how YOU feel dictate what you do.

eta: Sasha, that is my biggest problem! these damn salseros have only ONE thing on the brain!

We used 'Es mi niña bonita' from Thomas San Julian. Talk about old school version.
