Fellow Book worms - did anyone read 'Everything is Illuminated?'

I just finished it - curious to hear someone else's perspective on it - although I am meeting with my book club tomorrow to discuss it... It is very different, and a bit hard to follow in the beginning, but it al starts coming together, and then - forget it - you can't put it down - its the kind of book that goes in a million different directions...

Now that I read the book, I can rent the movie with Elijah Wood in good conscience (I will never see a movie before the book!)

Let me know if anyone else read it... Would love to hear your opinions!!!

You're not the only book geek here.. but i have never heard of everything is illuminated.. what kind of book it is?

I tend towards the mystery/thriller/fbi serial killer type books, but am definitely trying to open myself up to new things. (its just easiest to read the thrillers, cause we have an unofficial library w/ the girls at work, and we all read these types)

It is very different than mystery - it is an unusual piece of literature - it doesn't follow a linear line....

you should try it - you may find it tough in the beginning, but it is an interesting book!!!
