Re: OK - Am I missing something???

It can def be stress related, and I know it's so hard bc you're close to your day, but you need to relax. Also, watch what you eat, stay away from oily foods!

But that still doesn't mean anyone should go pointing those things out!

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

thats so rude!!! I dont know what planet their from but thats not socially acceptable!! I know your pain - i have horrible acne that no face wash/ facial/ clay mask will ever cure - mine is partly hormonal but its like a viral infection my doctor told me - there is no way to cure it no cream will fix it only pills taken everyday will clear it up (not totally but nice enough that its livable) but the pills made my liver enzymes rise to an unnacceptable level so i can't take them anymore - i will stop the day of the wedding - it will be my last mostly clear day

don't cry your gorgeous no matter what!! people are crazy and have no manners!!

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

I know EXACTLY what you mean! My friend asked me 'what is up with your forehead', and I'm like, it's a pimple. It's so damn rude!

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

Some people really have the nerve to point these things out. As if we don't already notice ourselves!

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

I really like Aveeno treatment for pimples. It's not drying so you can put it on twice a day and even put it on acne prone skin (that is recently cleared) to keep it from coming back. It works great, and my only problem is that I'm lazy and forget to keep using it. But once I use it, it's great. It comes in a green tube.

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

I normally have a super clean face...no blemishes, no zits, nothing. I don't wear make-up and look like a 12 year old so I'm happy for my 'clean' face most of the time. BUT for the wedding I was so stressed and so irritable that I broke out in a RASH! All over my cheek and some of my chin. I couldn't believe it! Luckily, your make-up person can do wonders and I am sure no one will tell the day of. Try your best to relax and not aggravate your skin.

As for your as$hole co-workers, tell them 'thank you Captain Obvious' next time they point out something that you CLEARLY can see for yourself!!

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

People are so rude sometimes and have a lot of nerve. Try not to take it personal. Take it where it is coming from. Next time someone says something tell them to mind their own business.

People will try to interfere in anyway with ones happiness. Screw her or him...you are the one that is getting married.

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

I try to live by the mantra - don't give an opinion, unless you were asked for an opinion.

it's unfortunate more people don't try to do the same. sorry you had to deal with that - it's rude and mean!

Re: OK - Am I missing something???

Don't let nasty co-workers get you down. I definitely feel your pain. I used to get huge, painful, bright red cyst-like pimples on my cheeks. It was so embarrassing. I knew everyone could see them.

Eventually, I started going to a dermatologist. I highly recommend it. They can prescribe some very effective prescriptions to help combat even minor skin issues. Plus, once you have a dermatologist, you can go to them for emergency pimples. They will inject the pimple and it will be gone by the end of the day.

I am definitely scheduling an appointment two days before my wedding...just in case.
