Just tried to get an aptm with Silverfox - bad experience

They were not accomodating at all. I work in the city and couldn't do weekday aptms and was told that Saturday evenings and Sundays would not work - they wouldnt even make an exception on days that they didn't have parties. Every other photographer that I have called has been more than willing to work with my schedule. Not a good experience so I thought I should share...

Sorry you had a bad experience. I work in NYC as well and used them. Although they don't have w/e appts - they are open rather late on Tuesdays I believe. I think I met with them at 7:30 or 8 one weekday night.

I am also sorry that you had a bad experience, we are using Silverfox and they were beyond accomodating for us. The owner actually stayed until after 10 p.m. to meet us.

Sorry you had a negative experience. I met with them on a Saturday morning, and didn't have a problem.

I couldnt meet with them on a saturday morning because my job usually requires me to work until late saturday afternoon - so I could only do saturday night aptms.
And I was NOT offered a 10pm during the week. The latest I was offered was 8pm- I usually don't get home until 9ish.

Maybe it was just the lady that answered the phones but she seemed very nice and told me she would have to call the owner and get back to me...then called me back and said 'looks like we won't be able to work with you because XYZ are the only times we could schedule an aptm.'

Did you try e-mailing John directly? I usually don't get home from the city until late either, but I left a little early one day to make this appt. I don't know what your experience with the other vendors has been, but only being available on a Saturday night for appts may be difficult.

I thought my schedule would be a problem but I have made 6 other aptms with photographers that would see me on a saturday night or sunday. Other vendors haven't had a problem yet either. I guess I'm just being sensitive bc this was my first negative experience with a vendor...
