NWR: engagement ring and gym

I work in Manhattan and before I got engaged I used to take boxing and kick boxing at the gym all the time.... I am scared to leave the ring in the locker but I am also scared to punch the bag with it on...

What do you guys do with your ring when you go to the gym?

I'm having the same problem. I go to the gym right after work. I generally take off all of my jewelry and leave it in my locker, but I just don't feel comfortable doing that with my e-ring. When I go to the gym on the weekends I just leave it at home.

I don't think that I would want to be punching a bag with it on. I can see that hurting.

my FH had an exact replica with a CZ stone in it for me to wear to the gym/away on vaca..it was only 75.00 ..so I can leave me ring at home and use that one..the stone is a litlte smaller too..so It doesnt hurt as bad. just a suggestion!

Try turning the ring around, so the stone doesn't hit the bag. just an idea.

I never wear my ring to the gym (I go on the weekends or after dinner).

I wear mine at the gym but, I don't do kickboxing, I usually go at lunchtime in the city and I don't want to leave it in the locker either. Especially since sometimes you are so rushed to get out of there to make room for someone else (that happened yesterday and I almost lost my watch).

I leave it on at the gym when I go during the day. On the weekends I leave it home.

If you wear a necklace...just put it on that till your done at the gym.

I leave it on at the gym, but i do not do kick boxing, but turning it around so the stone will be on the inside is a good suggestion.

I wear it at the gym - bc i forget to take it off at home - and then i feel so empty! i dont kickbox though - and i do turn it around ... sometimes i even wear it on my right side - bc my fingers get sweaty and my finger turns red ...

thats a tough one...i always wear mine, but i dont have to punch things.....

maybe dont wear it the days you have boxing...just leave it home ????

I wear mine at the gym except if i go on the weekends, but if i go after work its just to run so it doesn't interfere with my work out.
