Please post pix - Each BM in a different dress - same color

Is anyone doing this???

I'm currently looking at Bill Levkoff - navy, satin, tea-length 1 pc dresses for my BMs...each would pick their own style dress.

Originally I was hoping to find 2pc dresses for added ease and uniformity, but didn't have much luck.

My dilemma with the Bill Levkoff dresses I found is that most of them have some kind of trim that can be done in navy to match the dress...or in another color (white/ivory) as an accent. I'm not sure if it will look too different if I have the white accents on different dresses (i.e. - 1 w/sash, 1 w/bow, 1 w/simple trim).

I really like the idea of them each being a little different, but I don't want them to look silly either.

Anyone have any pictures?

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I am going to do this, but we have not even odered dresses yet... i was going to pick out a designer (with a good choice of styles) and a color... then the girls can go pick out their own dresses..

All my girls are wearing different Levkoff gowns in euro celadon. I don't have any actual pictures of what it looks like because the gowns are not in yet. I can post the gown that they chose though.

each of the gals in my BP wore a different dress but they were all the exact same color. they really appreciated the freedom of choosing their own dress.

i'm sorry i dont have pics yet but i did this - i chose the color and designer (alfred angelo - riveira sky) and let the girls select any dress they wanted! It worked out beautifully - the junior bridesmaids all selected empire waist chiffon dresses and the older girls all chose satin with elegant trains!! i love it!!! and my MOH has the seperate set white with handpainted blue flowers and crystal embroidery and blue satin skirt with a train.

They have seperates but they didn't come small enough for my girls - alfred angelo seperates dont come in junior sizes.

My girls wore seperates from impressions bridal and each had different tops. There are pictures in my review.

I think it's ok to have different dresses, same color. However I do think the dresses should all be the same length. I just think it will look better in pictures as all of these girls did. Uniformity is always important with pictures.

Mine wore different lengths and dresses, heck one even wore a different color...and I still think that they all looked very much a part of my BP. No one looked like a glorified guest. And they were all comfy. But I've never liked cookie cutter looks anyway...

my girls are wearing different bill levcoff dresses in the same length and material (chiffon) and the same color - petal pink- i gave them four choices

I am doing this as well since 4 of my 5 BM's live out of town. I told them the color (David's Bridal's Apple) and told them to each pick their own style as long as it is ankle length.
We'll see how it goes! Good Luck!
