aisle runner w/monogram or text

quick q: which way does the text face?

does the text face the altar or does it face the door (meaning, do you read it from the back of the church, or do you read it from the altar as you walk out)? does my question even make sense? and is the monogram placed by the altar or by the door?

Re: aisle runner w/monogram or text

the monogram is facing the door, so when you walk down the aisle for the first time you see it.

Plus, when the photographers take pix of you after the wedding is over.. it'll look nice because you/groom and the monogram will be facing the camera.

i'm confused already. so does this mean that when people walk out, they can read the text, but when i walk into the church towards the altar, the text will be upside down?

When you're walking up to the alter...you can read the text.
When the people are in their seats...they can read the text.

ETA: Pic...

Dad is walking me down the aisle...words are so I can read them...

Don't mind the goofy cry face.
