QOTD: If you have anything left on your registry, what one item did you not get that you really want?

For me I would have to say our Ralph Lauren Avenue towels.

Most of my registry went un-purchased...so I would have to say all my kitchen 'tools' (spatulas, cake servers, etc.)

I just looked and saw that all the non-stick bakeware is the only stuff left. I could really use it too. Good thing I have a BB&B gift card

Re: QOTD: If you have anything left on your registry, what one item did you not get that you really want?

I really want my fancy Wustof knives. I've been trying to cook lately and it's so hard to chop with my $7.99 IKEA block of knives

ETA: And the worst thing is that I have TWO of them because DH and I each bought one when we had our own apartments!

Re: QOTD: If you have anything left on your registry, what one item did you not get that you really want?

The nice set of pots and pans for $400. We did not get them so we are using my old set from when I lived in DC. It is not horrible, but it would be nice to have the new set. I was really fortunate in the fact that most of my registry was purchased. I am only missing 6 soup bowls, my accent plates and a serving platter from my fine china. I got the rest of it.

I wish I was able to find a comforter set I love, because I never did find anything I liked, I did not register for bedding. I want new bedding. My old set is now 7 years old and needs to be replaced.

I know what you mean. I am very picky about bedding as well. My DH thinks I am nuts lol

I absolutely LOVE CK bedding!

Thank you! I am so glad that I am not the only one.
Ok, so I may get flamed for this, but why is it that fortunoff only purchased brown bedding last year? And if it was another color it looks like it was for a 65 year old woman?

I hear ya. We ended up getting brown and gold bedding..it's rather opulent looking though...we also hung gold scarves across the four posts...very romantic looking..we don't use the shams.

hmmm...it's a toss up between the set of pots that mysteriously came off my registry, but I never received and my Christmas china.

I say 'my' like I actually have it!

you know... you can call the store and ask who purchased the pots. if it just came off recently I wouldn't, but if you got married several months ago and they've been marked as bought from your regsitry all this time, and you never got them, you could possibly have an angry gift giver who thinks you didn't thank her/him/them. for all they know, they bought it and shipped it to you (a real possiblity) but it got lost or stolen.

Things we did receive and didn't want were returned and we bought the things we did want There's nothing I can think of. I guess I was lucky
