Any other good photographers in or near Mineola (besides Patken & Silverfox)?

Any other good photographers in or near Mineola (besides Patken & Silverfox)?

So Patken and Silverfox just happen to be very close to each other in Mineola, so I figure we'll make a day of photographer/videographer viewing in the area. Is there any other photographers you'd recommend that are near this area? Thanks.

I think Cassarino is in that area and their pics looked nice at the showcase at the Watermill

12th night is in the area and does beautiful work IMO.

i wouldn't limit yourself to an area. you may need to search outside the area to find your photographer. plenty of good ones out there.

Bret Matthews is in Roslyn. They did our wedding and we were extremely happy with them

I live in Staten Island. But I know Duet Does a great job. They are Located in Huntington

Deja Vu Studios. They are on Jerrichio Turnpike. We didn't pick them. Just be careful, they called me constantly until I finally told them we picked another photographer and they left us alone.

Try twelfth Night in Garden City Park on Jericho Turnpike. We're using them.

Queens Bridal Studio on Jericho Tpke in Mineola. My friend used them and was happy.

We went to Queens Bridal, and weren't happy at all. Besides that they called ALL the time until we finally told them we chose someone else. VERY pushy for a sale and the studio was very old. I believe we spoke with Karol, and she tried to sell us everything under the sun.

I should clarify, we're definitely looking at more photographers, but we wanted to schedule appointments close to each other with minimal travel.


Time to look into 12th Night.

Every time I drive down Jericho Tpke, I curse myself for not checking out more photo/video places in that area when I was there to visit the one I eventually chose.

As you consider any of your vendors, it's a really good idea to read the reviews from brides who actually used them. Just click 'search' up top and type in the name in the pop-up window.

The newlywed board is also a great place to read about what it's like to work with photo/video vendors AFTER the wedding.

And, the BBB is another great place to check out vendors. If someone went to enough trouble to file a formal complaint, something had to be very, very wrong.

I highly recommend Franklin square photographers. I forget the name of the street they are on but you can check out their web site

Check out Chuck Marcy from Chuck Marcy Photography . He is so wonderful to work with and does such a great job.

Glenmar is in Roslyn. They were recommended by the Swan Club - they were affordable and their work was great.

I used them. The video guy dropped the camera in the middle of our ring exchange. The video shows several seconds of the aisle runner as I'm starting to put the ring on DH's finger. Among other problems, the video guy also neglected to interview my parents and recorded only 90 minutes of our five hour reception.
