How do I go about making my own church programs?

After reviewing my budget I really dont have the serious money to have these professionally done. Thoughts? How do I begin these, where do I get the paper, fonts, design concepts, etc?

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

You can definitely buy thicker colored paper at Staples.

I would try to design them in Word. You can find templates online and then use pretty fonts and maybe some clip art.

Then you can print them (both sides) and fold in half. Then buy some cheap ribbon and punch 2 holes along the crease and tie the ribbon through the holes.

I bought program paper (bifold) from Staples and used the template - it was very easy. I added a bow in ribbon to each program.

I bought paper and a template on Ebay for less than $20 for 100. All I have to do is type in my information and run the paper through the printer. So easy.
