Soho Coffee Table Wedding Album-Need Advice!
Okay, I already put this post on 'Brides Helping Brides' but I really need some advice on this.I have been looking at different photographers and I see that the new type of album they are all offering is the Soho Coffee Table Album, which is a more contemporary type album, kinda a magazine layout. Of course if you choose that over a classic album it is more money, like around 800 -1000 more. Do any of your photographers offer this type of album and are you choosing that type of album? For ladies that are already married, do you have this type of album and do you think it is worth it?
My friend is telling me to go for it because she said probably in a few years that is what photographers will be offering and I will regret not having an 'up-to-date' album.
If you go to this link you will see an example of the album (you have to turn the pages by clicking on the bottom corner of the album)

I believe that's similar to what my photographer offers (his is more of a board book though).I opted for the package without the albums and I'm going to make them myself, all my pics are on DVD. If I decide later I want a different album, I can just go and make a new one.

FI an I loved that alblum but it was quite expensive. We're saving money and making our own because our pics are on a DVD, so we'll get to choose as many pics as we want for our alblum.

Every photographer we looked at offered it....Some places I liked that one better and some places I liked the traditional album better. We ended up going with the traditional album... I like it better... I like having the black background...it makes you concentrate more on the actual photograph... I also like having different layouts on each page rather than a lot of collages.. and different things going on at once. For me, I found some of the magazine styles confusing.... but some were done beautiful... it all depends on your taste.
