Italian/American bands or dj
Hi girls...I was wondering if any of you could help me with reviews of any italian/american bands or djs you've heard recently. I did a search and found the names of the most popular ones out there but before I go visit all of them I was hoping you could help me weed out the best ones from the list: Strings, Opera3000, MGM, Voices, Carozza Brothers, Mirage and djs: Continental, Starlight Express, Satisfaction Guaranteed etc. I would really appreciate any help u girls could give me. Thanks

Hi!I used Mirage and thought they were excellent. If you go online to Miragemusic.com, they have some sample songs that you can download.
Good luck.

We had Mirage and they were awesome! My friends are still commenting about how great they were! The best part was that Judy Torres sang with them (my DH and I LOVE freestyle music!)! Mirage never told us that she would be joining them, we found out that night that when she can she joins the band! it was a huge surprise!!!Definetly check them out!!
Not to make your list any longer, I was at a wedding recently and heard ADA, they were really good too-everyone was dancing the entire night! Their lead male vocalist sounds EXACTLY like Eros Ramazotti!
Good Luck! Let us know how it turns out!

Re: Italian/American bands or dj
here is an FM i got after posting the same type of question...Hi,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
The bands that I'm going to give you range from $4000 on up... Some can go as high at $10,000 but keep in mind that anything can be negotiated.. What I would highly recommend is when you speak to them try to find out when their next band showcase is and try to attend them. That's the only way you will know whether you like what you hear and see and if they are worth the money you are going to spend.
So, here are a few names and numbers starting from the least expensive to the most expensive (that's if their prices haven't gone up since I last spoke to them)
ADA 516-759-4489
Le Onde 516-679-1340
747 718-939-7537
La Nuova Era 718-881-3586
Emotions 718-355-2367
Era 2000 718-892-1219
Armonia 718-545-8347
Caleps 718-259-6922
MGM 718-259-3826
All of the above speak both Italian and English.
Hope this helps...
My cousin is using ADA
My sister is using Armonia
My future sister in law used Caleps
And my fsil's sister used MGM

We saw Armonia at their studio, they were good. The Voices are very good but expensive. WE ended up with 747 music productions. They are from Ridgewood queens. WE saw them showcase twice and they wereunbelievable. They were great! WE couldn't be happier. They did the Italian music great and the AMerican music great as well. I wish i could have another party just to use them again. I don't have the info with me at work but i could FM you are interested.

I am using Satisfaction Guaranteed for my e-party - and I love them!! I used them also for my sweet 16 - and i cant say anything bad abt them!i am thinking of using either
Paris
or Oasis - from NJ - anyone ever heard of either of them? Any reviews??
Armonia - they are good
MGM - my sis had them - they are awesome - put on THE BEST light show - the only complaint they are WAY tooo loud IMO.
The Voices
My brother had them - they are awesome too - but they didnt fulfill the requests for my brothers wedding, and that turned me off - but they are good!

Rosaria, can you also FM info for Leli??? I looked over your pictures and they are absolutely gorgeous. I only hope my pics look half as good on my wedding day. Did your photographers speak italian? It's no big deal if they don't but it would definitely help for setting up the family shots

We are using Satisfication Guaranteed. We loved them. We also checked out Starlight Express and Continental but felt better going with Jack. On the band side I have seen Opera 3000 twice and they were awesome.

Re: Italian/American bands or dj
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS INFORMATION. I just started looking for bands and only knew of a few italian bands -- all already book for my wedding, which is over a year away. I heard ERA 2000 tonight and thought they were awesome. I'm so relieved to know of these other bands and am excited that I will actually be able to find a band that will make me happy!Welcome New Vendors
