Big day tomorrow
Mom is scheduled for surgery tomorrow in Dallas to fuse 6 discs together. I pray the surgery is successful. I pray that my sister who is with her can hold it together for her. She is very emotional like I am and really needs us. I feel horrible that she is alone don there dealing with this. No decisions are being made without consulting the rest of us first AND we will each be listed as Mom's health care proxy so when any one of the four of us are there, we can make decisions in the event that Mom can't advocate for herself.
I am also scheduled for my first dress fitting tomorrow. My other sister (I have 2) and 2 of my BM's will be joining me for support and opinions.
Next week I am supposed to have my final meeting with the florist to design the CP's as well as go to the Temple and design the entire look of the wedding - something I was really looking forward to doing with Mom. Luckily, Mom and I have had similar ideas all along. I just hope she has faith in me to do the right thing.

Wow, tomorrow's going to be a tough day for you what with the surgery and going for your first fitting. You're probably going to feel so many emotions.

I spoke to mom for 2 seconds this morning. She said she was ok and that she loves me. Shes in ICU so we really couldnt talk. Her surgery is in a few hours. Ill keep you posted.
