Re: Brownie Recipes

I have a great one - made them last year for FH and he loved em

Classic Brownies:

8 (1oz.) squares of unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
5 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cups flour
2 ½ cups chopped pecans, toasted

Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat (or in microwave on high). Set aside. In a mixer, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla @ high speed for 10 minutes. Blend in chocolate and flour until just mixed. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan.

Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.

***I served them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and chocolate syrup mmmmmm
