latke recipes in newsday

hey ladies!
in case you need recipes:
there's recipes for latkes in today's newsday.
there's one for regular latkes, one for a lighter version and one for sweet potato latkes.

The Daily News had a recipe for Latkes with jalapeno. Since when does Jewish cooking have FLAVOR? My mom just boils things and MIGHT add salt!

I told my mom and she is saving the Newsday recipes for me.

I work in a mostly Jewish office and every year at least one family brings in latkes...not this year...and I have one heck of a taste for them since almost every day I read about them on here...
