Re: October Brides....

I'm with you - not sure where to go for the honeymoon. We went to Mexico this past October and everything was thrown off because of Hurricane Wilma, it worked out fine, but I would imagine if that happened near the wedding, I would go insane! I keep thinking Costa Rica or South America. We really wanted Greece, but the tourist season is over and I hear things might be closed... Hawaii is definitely a safe plan. Or a cruise because they go around any storms. I'm also curious what other october brides are doing???

Hawaii is very expensive...the trip is a lot and you need a lot of spending money...I mean, I havent been but lots of family members have and they all said it was a lot of money. Thats why we ruled it out

Re: October Brides....

We chose to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I've always wanted to go there and in the beginning, it just wasn't going to be possible because it is VERY expensive. But then my FH's parents gave us their marriott reward points to use. So the hotel stays for 2 weeks are free. THis is the only way we're able to go.

If we didn't go to hawaii, i'm sure we would have chosen a sandals resort in st. lucia or somewhere.

Re: October Brides....

We went to Maui and Kauai for our honeymoon. We didn't want to take any chances during hurricane season and we wanted to go someplace that in all likelihood, we would not travel back to for a long time. It was expensive but we did really well searching the internet for deals.
