Titanium weddings band? ordering bands online?

I don't want to clutter the boards with my wedding ring posts so I'm combining several questions into one.

I posted a few days ago about ordering inexpensive wedding rings. I am extremely sentimental but I found titanium rings that i actually really like and are significantly less than platinum!

Does anyone have any experiences with titanium wedding bands? I hear they are indestructable but I have several concerns. First, is it true that they cannot be cut off in an emergency (ex: car crash crushes hand).

My other concern is sizing. My ring size fluctuates a bit - like most women. I have balls in my e-ring and there are days when its tight and days when its loose. Would titanium not be a good idea for me?

Also does anyone have experiences ordering wedding rings online?

here is a link of the titanium site - i love the anodized carved rings but I know the anodizing won't last forever and wonder if they are too 'trendy'

Thank you girls!!

FH wants a titanium ring.
We have been told that it can not be resized.

I dont know if they can be cut off but they are the most destructible of all the metals.

Re: Titanium weddings band? ordering bands online?

Most hospitals have sharp cutters in ER-which they use for cutting steel which can easily cut through titanium.

In fact 'Titanium rings are less likely to crush or bend out-of-round, so if you shut your hand in a car door or drop a heavy object on it, it might be safer to be wearing a titanium ring than a precious metal band!'
