Any Irish-American brides out there to recommend an Irish band/DJ?

HI Everyone. . .

I am new to this site so I thought I would post a question. Music at the reception is REALLY important to me and I am looking for any contacts for an Irish band and/or DJ. My parents are from Ireland and I really want to have the Irish music I grew up with at the wedding.... Family members are world-class Irish stepdancers so we would need a band or DJ that can play some traditional music for them to perform to as well popular group dances such as the Siege of Ennis, etc. as well as some of the fun, sing-a-long music too... that said, we also don't want the entire wedding to be just Irish music.... we would need a band/DJ that can also play regualr rock/pop/dance music.... Any contacts or recommendations would be appreciated!
Thank you!!

My dad plays bagpipes in a pipe band so he knows good Irish music. He saw the band Good Clean Fun...website is gcfun.com at a wedding and thought they were fantastic. He says they played all types of music too. I havent checked them out yet but I will be. Also, I posted this question a few weeks ago and people mentioned celtic cross(celticcross.com I think). Cunningham Brothers are also supposed to be good. They all are Irish bands that play everything else too. Good Luck!

Went to a wedding two weeks ago that had the band, good clean fun and they were good. I personally love Celtic Cross - they are playing at my wedding.

Good Clean Fun is always a popular one.

There is also Shiliegh Law and the Unity Squad (not sure if they do weddings though)

You should contact the AOH or the Irish American society to find out more.

Good Luck!!!

Have you considered a really great band that plays American Music and a DJ that can play all the Irish music?

I'm having a DJ and providing them with the Irish music I want played for the siege of ennis and such. My cousins father is going to play the accoridan and one point and my sister, and cousin and I will dance. My dad will also be playing the bagpipes.
