Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
i worked out with a personal trainer and went to the gym everyday! It worked and I felt great for the wedding! However, it has been a little over 2 months since my wedding and I havent worked out once and put on 15 pounds!
I also have been eating everything under the sun!
Good luck, work out, eat good and continue it..... thats my best advise.

Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
I worked out almost every day and really watched what I ate. Now coming on 10 mths of marriage I'm about 25 lbs. heavier than I was at my wedding and miserable. I rejoined the gym (today actually) and hope to be close to my wedding weight for our 1st anniversary!

Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
I'm trying to lose too. I went for a check up and my doctor, knowing I'm getting married, told me the best thing to do to lose weight is 1 cup of whole grain cereal w/ low fat milk (breakfast), eat salad, lots of salad for lunches, and about 4 oz of meat (protien) a day, and steamed veges for dinner. I'm like 4 oz of meat, I usually eat just that much for lunch. Easier said than done, but I'm doing that and 1 hour of cardio (stationary bike) 6 days a week and soon I'll add in Kathy Smith Weight workout 3 times a week. Only time will tell, but I feel better, I don't know how long I can maintain this routine, but I'm trying.

South Beach and the Buff Brides program at NYSC. I am definitely far from buff, but I did lose 20 lbs and it was very fun!

Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
Went to the gym 3x a week and did abs at home also 3x a week. I watched my carb intake A LOT! No white bread and pasta only on occasion. It’s only been 1 month for me and I think I actually lost more weight
I am keeping up the same routine now b/c I love fitting into old clothes again

Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
My sister dropped 70 pounds on Weight Watchers. Since getting married she has gotten pregnant (and obviously gained weight). However, she was back at WW goal weight 2 months after her beautiful little girl was born, and has continued to keep it off by remembering everything WW taught her about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I lost 20 pounds but did it the bad way. I cut out meals in my diet. Towards the end I was eating very little but that was mainly because of stress

Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
What is weird is when I work out I actually gain weight! Not just muscle weight. I haven't worked out for a year now and I am skinnier then ever about 112.My FH is a pesonal trainer so I could always use him if I needed to..
He is such a health freak...I actually recently stopped drinking diet coke because that stuff is not good for you!
FH wants me to gain weight but I am happy with my weight!!

I haven't had soda of any kind in at least 6 months. I heard that even Diet Coke can make you GAIN weight. So I am sticking to my Crystal Light, water, and non-carbonated beverages.

Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
I've lost 15 lbs on Weight Watchers! I started doing it when I got the BM dress for my sister's wedding and it didn't fit!
I started right before labor day and lost 13 punds by her wedding on Oct. 9. I've sort of fallen off the wagon since her wedding, but I've lost 2 more pounds since then. I intend to go back on it after the holidays.

Re: Brides who lost weight for their wedding..
Drink lots of water, do some weight training (a pound of muscle burns more than a pound of fat - I guess everyone knows that by now - plus is less dense!) Do cardio, sleep - stress makes you eat more, being tired makes you crave more to stay awake! Work out, be healthy - you'll always feel great!!!Good luck!!!

Why is Diet Coke so bad? Is it the fake sugar? The caffeine that people worry about?
