Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
Anyone been? Do they have a big selection? Are they nice to deal with? Are the gowns expensive (starting price)?

I got my dress there and have had a great experience with them so far! Just don't expect to be able to look behind the closet doors. I have to say though, the girl helping me, must have known me to a Tee, because the 1st dress I tried on there is my wedding dress!!!

Re: Bridal Reflections - Massapequa
I think I'm the opposite of everyone else. I had a wonderful experience at the wedding center in commack. The salesgirl gave me a gorgeous Jasmine dress to try on (my first one and I was sold). Then, for comparison sake, I went to Bridal Reflections, and the saleswoman (who was slightly odd), only gave me a selection of dresses from a trunk show. She wouldn't show me anything else, and then gave me a total sales pitch. She said the dresses are leaving that sunday, so I needed to make an appoinment to be measured for the dress I want that Saturday. She gave me the song and dance that it takes 6 - 8 months for the dress to come in, so I had to buy now. I really don't believe that dresses take that long, I truly think that it is a sales ploy to get you to buy. At TWC, they said it would be ready for me in three months, and didn't try to munipulate or push me into anything.... just one woman's opinion ; )

I had an appointment there last Thursday and met with Kathy. She was great and knew exactly what I wanted to try on. I was early for my appointment and she took me as soon as I walked in the door. I would definitely recommend her!

THEY DO HAVE A BIG SELECTION!!! THE ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY DRESSES LIKE OVER A 12 FOR PLUS GIRLS TO TRY ON SO I DIDN'T LIKE THAT AND THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, BUT THE STAFF IS GREAT!!!! THEY REALLY CATER TO YOU

I worked in a Bridal Salon and normally it DOES take 6-8 months for a dress to come in. The dress isn't sitting in some warehouse in Jersey waiting to be purchased. They put the order in, the dress is made over seas but they won't ship it until they have enough orders of that particular dress to actually ship it (they're cheap and want to save on shipping costs). But congrats on having a good experience at TWC and for picking a dress that can come in so quickly.
