Question for girls wearing a Cathedral Length Veil

What are you girls doing for the reception? Taking it off, wearing a shorter one? Is there anyway to keep it on without it getting stepped all over?

I'm bustling it too, along with my skirt. When else can you wear a veil?

Re: Question for girls wearing a Cathedral Length Veil

Well I had purchased a shorter veil to wear during the Reception but my lovely sister forgot it in the closet

I wanted to wear the veil as long as possible so I just carried it over my arm, then about half way threw the night I just took it off

Re: Question for girls wearing a Cathedral Length Veil

I also have a 2 tier veil and the cathedral length part is detatchable, so I'll take it off after the ceremony.

Re: Question for girls wearing a Cathedral Length Veil

Being the great big princess I am, I wore the cathedral veil along with a blusher AND a fingertip veil. Then I took the blusher and cathedral veils off after the ceremony.

Re: Question for girls wearing a Cathedral Length Veil

I took mine off. To be honest, most of the wedding day I had mine off except for the ceremony because it was just really uncomfortable and long.

I think even if you originally decide not to, you will end up takin git off.
