Navy blue dresses and flowers

Is anyone having navy blue dresses for their bridesmaids? I am and I am going to the florist today (Pedestals.) If they ask me what color flowers I would like, I won't know what to say. I want something that will stand out, since the dresses are so dark and my wedding is at night. My mom says to use a multi color theme. I think I'd like to use 2 of 3 colors. Any suggestions?

I choose lavendar and deep pink roses with mini calla's in the pink/cream range. This drove me crazy because so many flowers go with navy. I was debating about going with all shades of red roses or the lavendar/deep pink. It was a tough choice - let me know what you decide.

I was in my MOH's wedding 2 years ago and the BM's wore navy blue dresses. She got us yellow rose bouquets which were soooo beautiful and really complimented the navy blue dresses.

Three of my friends had navy dresses. One used just gorgeous red roses, it was so pretty. One used multi colors (blues, yellows, all colors). The third used just ivory roses.

I think red roses are the most beautiful flowers and against a navy dress, it would be nothing else but classic. What are you planning on carrying??? By the way, when is your wedding?

In black and white pictures, they do appear dark, but so what. You remember the flowers as they appear. If you want, get different shades of red (that's what I'm doing for my September wedding). My BM's are wearing a soft gold (called cashmere)and I think the contrast will be beautiful.

I'm getting married on New Years Eve and would really like navy blue BM dresses and I have my heart set on red roses. Do you think this will be too 'Red White & Blue'?
