NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

I see all of these ads with ladies dressed for Holiday parties in skirts/dresses with strappy sandals and NO pantyhose. My question is, with our NY winters.

Do any of you go sans hose with strappy/open toed shoes in the winter to parties?

for clarity, my question is DO you not wear pantyhose AND where open toed sandals in the winter? (NOT do you wear open toed shoes with hose)

I cannot stand pantyhose...so regardless of the weather I never have them on...I usually go tanning once or twice before the event so that I'm not pasty white

this time of year i definitely wear pantyhose - i am to pale and it is wayy too cold for me.

I also never wear panty hose with strappy sandals/shoes. I also tend not to wear strappy shoes this time of year and usually opt for boots.

i hate hote however for work i have to wear suits some days and i will wear thigh highs. they have a sticky thinkg on top so they stay on your leg.
im wearing them today. i hate hose but tyhe worst part of the hose (the control top) is taken away with the thigh highs

before I say my peace....

My biggest peeve (sp?) is people who wear panty hose with open toe shoes..imo, it is tacky!!!

I think you can get away with some open toe shoes during the winter months, but for the most part you should stick with winter styled..there are many cute strappy closed toes shoes..

I do. If Im going to a fancy shmancy party and I am wearing a dress that calls for delicate open-toe shoes/sandals, I do not wear pantyhose...however, this year you have an option of wearing nice shoes/sandals without having to bear your feet...those peep toe or whatever those shoes are called are very nice to wear with cocktail/holiday dress...

I just attended a wedding on Saturday, open toe shoes NO pantyhose.
If I can avoid Pantyhose, I do, I am just not a fan of them.

hey girls- that's cool, but again for clarity- I didn't mean if you wear hose WITH open toed shoes.

I just wanted to know if you go bare (no hose AND strappy shoes.)

don't worry though- you are of course entitled to you honest opinion!
