For those doing monogram cake toppers (poll)

I was so impressed w/ Hollies DIY cake topper that i started thinking about mine. I want to order (i dont think i can make one) and I dont know if i should do the whole monogram or just last name initial.

Can you please poll what you are doing if you are doing a mono cake topper

We're doing the first and last name initials...although I think the last name initial only is also very nice.

We're just doing the last initial (C). Very easy to make and you'll save some $$. Here's mine:

We did all because we used it in our monogram all throughout the wedding.

Cake topper from ebay - ordered week before wedding...rec'd in less than a week.
Crystals from AC Moore...NOT Swarovski though.

I love the look of the last initial with the 2 first initials, I think the one alone looks too 'empty'.

I got my supplies via ebay sellers.

designer_trends_by_tami = crystals
I e-mailed her to create a specific color amount of crsytals and she sent me an invoice via PayPal. I ordered the glue from her as well.

Tami has pre-set packages on ebay (auction & buy it now) and you can pick your color combo after you buy. I had her order a new color that was not yet available in any of her packages so that is why I did not buy via ebay.
