Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
I've looked at a few sites..so far the most inexpensive ones I've found are very simple and about $39 for 100 invitations (not including all the other stuff, of course) has anyone seen anything less expensive at a store or another site? I don't mind if the invitations are very simple..trying to spend as little $$ as possible without printing them out ourselves...tia!

Re: Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
that sounds like a pretty good price to me! i know when i made my DIY invitations for my e-party, it cost me around 70 bucks for 100 invitations, and i had to print them out myself (which i will never do again!)

Re: Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
That is an amazing cost! (And I am a bargain bride.) But beware.....
Find out if it comes with envelopes (you'd be surprised) because a lot of invitations don't fit in your normal Staples bought envelope. Also, does it have anything else? Reception card? Response card with envelope? Place cards?
We got 125 invitations with inner and outer envelopes, reception cards, response cards with envelope for about $250. We didn't do the extras like lined envelopes and return address. And the place cards come with our photo frame favors. The outer envelope is normally addressed formally and the inner envelope has the specific names of those invited.

Re: Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
I wish that included everything! no that's for the invitations only..with repsonse cards, envelopes, etc. I think the lowest I have priced so far is about $160-170. They are like the most plain invitations you can buy..which is ok with us...just trying to see how loow we can go

hmm maybe you can buy DIY invitations from Michaels--use their 40% off coupon and you could probably get 100 invites (including rsvp card) for about 40 bucks. you may then be able to take it to a print shop and get it printed there for cheap! i'd say you could do everything for under 100 bucks.

Re: Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
I like that idea except I feel like it will be one more thing I have to do..even though it's not so bad! The other thing I was just looking at is seal-n-send invitations. Did anyone do this? I'm scared the response cards will get lost in the mail!

Re: Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
The best website I have found for invites is princessweddinginvitations.com. They have a ton of them at low cost. They also have an online price calculator that you can use to plug in exactly what you need (response cards, reception cards, preprinted return address etc) and it will give you the approximate price (including shipping) for the invitation of your choice.
edit for spelling

Re: Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
I was going to order invites over the internet, checked many websites, and actually ordered some samples (which I had to pay for). I have to say that the samples didn't look nearly as good 'live' as they did on the websites. Made me decide to get off my butt and go look at some samples and choose something, I think I'm going to use LA Productions as she carries a large variety and discounts. Plus she's close to where I live.

Re: Least Expensive invitations w/out DIY
This is a little off beat, but try indianweddingcards.com. They have some invites that are as low as .55 each plus a $30 flat rate for printing. I ordered some samples and they were good quality. The invites I am purchasing are .70 each and I think they look great.

thanks for the heads up! I'm going to order a sample of the ones I'm looking at real soon so I hope they're ok! How do the prices compare at these places to the Internet sites? Do you think I could still find something in the $30/invitation range? How long does it take to get them when you order this way? thanks!

I wasn't able to get to the site from this address. Could it be missing anything? thanks!

The invitations I ordered samples of online were priced mid-range probably, that's why I was surprised when I got them that they weren't nicer. I only ordered from two websites (now I don't remember which they were). Check around, but definitely get a look at the real product before you do any ordering. I thing it took a week to ten days to get my samples from both places. Good luck!
