stupid mailing lists

I'm kind of annoyed... somebody spammed out my mailing address... as in my physical house address, for snail mail, because I've now gotten two random mailings from vendors (both photography people, I think).

It must have been one of the halls I visited, they all took down my address. I wonder which one...

Have any of you been to either Fox Hollow, the Watermill, Cold Spring Country Club, or Thatched Cottage, and gotten mailings like this?

While I know perhaps it will be good to have these things in a folder somewhere when I start looking to book photographers, etc, it pisses me off that some hall would just randomly give out my address. I definitely do not remember giving permission for this.

Yeah, my hall did the same thing. I have gotten a ton of mail. Also from LIW vendors. I throw it all (well most of it) away. they are just wasting postage!

Me too. I just throw them away. I was very upset about this at first, but what are you going to do? I just specifically told the other halls not to give my info out, to just give me a list of their prefered vendors and I would call them.

I haven't gotten anything like this. I went to see Jericho Terrace, Thatched Cottage and Chateau La Mer

I get soooooo much stuff everyday...

At first I thought it was LIW... But it could be bridal shows and stuff like that...

I just can't wait until it stops...

I have just made a book with different folders and labeled them... so when I look for Photographers... I go to that folder,

Then when I need favors, I will go to that folder.

It the easiest way I could handle it in the beginning... NOW I JUST THROUGH THEM ALL AWAY!!!!

I have gotten a bunch of spam mail and junk mail at my house from different vendors...I just throw them out!

i'm a fox hollow bride...i get snail mail every now and then but nothing that majorly annoys me...and when i get stuff...i just recycle it..but i agree, they definitely are wasting postage!

I get so much stuff that my mailman gave me an engament card and I did not even speak to him.

I recieve like 30 e mails a day from vendors, I basically delete them all , unless its a name I recognize or may want to inquire about..but other than that, it is a pain in the you know where
