Sans Souci wedding 11/11/05

Hi,
I never really posted on here - we basically used the boards to vet our vendors - which worked extremely well.
I just wanted to write about the Sans Souci as they truly deserve to be mentioned on here.

The place is just awesome from soup to nuts. The Maitre' de (her name is Nargis) is just incredible. She has that group of servers trained better than a military unit.

The food was probably the best we have ever had at a wedding ANYWHERE - I do not know who the chef is but he rocks. It was so good in fact that I went over to try my sisters dinner as I thought maybe mine (I'm the groom BTW) had been given some extra 'care'.

Cocktail hour was perfectly executed and again, the food was just awesome. The hot foods were hot and the cold foods were just as they should be. ((We had been at a place in Patchouge the week before for a wedding (Med. Manor I think) and the breadsticks were all stale and nothing was replenished. ))

The tables were beautifully set and each table had their own server and busser - a nice touch. Drink orders were taken at the tables as well so guest did not have to get up.

We also had our wedding ceremony there - while the guests are arriving there is punch and small danish snacks for them until the ceremony starts.

We went for the additional 'Pastry Shoppe' in addition to the standard deserts and again, we were blown away by what their pastry chef put out. Wedding cake was PERFECT as well - in fact there was just so much food that everyone staggered out of there.

my guests are still calling and raving about the entire affair. You simply must consider this place if you are getting married- speak to Julie or Nargis and you may tell them we sent you!

I went to a wedding there last year and I agree, the food was amazing and the service was great! If it hadnt been for the fact that a good friend of mine was just married there, we probably would of considered it for our wedding
