Major Florist Dilemna - HELP!!!!
I have interviewed 10, yes 10, different florists. I have narrowed it down to two - Signature Florist and LA Blossom. Both were enthusiastic, and very 'into' their work. I felt comfortable with both of them, and believe that either one would do a phenomenal job.I am completely torn between the two, and would like some feedback from girls who used or are using them. If you met with both, please tell me why you chose one over the other. If you only met with one or the other, please tell me why you chose to use that florist vs any other florist you visited.
If you're not comfortable posting, please FM with your comments.
TIA!!!

I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. I have read nothing but great reviews about Jen. However, I also have had great experiences with George at Signature. His flowers are amazing, as is his work. He is super nice and the prices are amazing.Sorry I am not much help... I think that either choice is a good one.

DANG...that's tough.
It's a win win situation.
What about getting sample centerpieces made by each and making a decision from there?

I'm working on that. I have 2nd appointments set up with both florists. I want to really compare exactly how many flowers are in each bo-k, and what size ring the CP will be etc. In the meantime, I figured the girls on here that had met with them and picked one over the other could offer some insight as to why they made their decision. I'm just so torn. They were both fabulous when I met with them, and offered wonderful suggestions, and I'm sure they will both do an amazing job. George has the advantage of being a little less expensive, and Laurie has the advantage of being located 15 minutes away from where I live.
I almost want to put both names in a hat and just pull one out!!

Re: Major Florist Dilemna - HELP!!!!
I went to 10 florists too. You aren't nuts.To be honest, I never ended up meeting with LA Blossom because I was SUPPOSED to the weekend after I met George at Signature. I ended up cancleing because George blew me away with his sample. But, I spent a lot of time going back and forth with her about my ideas. She helped me SO much in realizing I could have tulips represented at my wedding, ideas for color combinations, etc. I really valued her professionalism and vision.
But, what made me go with George and not any of the other 10 florists was the following:
1. Great price. (LA Blossom had quoted me something similar - a tad bit more).
2. With a large wedding, I was nervous about getting things in and out of my hall (short window of time to set up) and George made me feel comfortable. Plus, he had done weddings there.
3. I felt that his experience and connections to the NY Flower market made me feel better, his brick and mortar business and history made me feel good.
4. He treated me so well (as did LA Blossom), but not all florists treated me this way. He was laid back, not pushy and just overall a calming force in my life. Which I need.
5. George is so cute....no just kidding!
Not sure if that helped or hurt. I will tell you this: no matter who you go with - you chose two very good vendors and I think you will be happy with both.
Feel free to FM me for more info.

Who has better $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I hear good things about both. I met w/George and found him to be eager and accomidating. His work was very nice (he had flowers that were ready for a wedding that day). I didn't meet w/LA Blossom so can't comment. Who did you click w/more? I think it's important to feel comfortable w/the vendors that you choose (even if they cost a bit more).

I know it's hard not to 'pick' from now, but honestly, I would wait and see what your comparative review and sample CP's turn out - once that's done, it'll make it a lot easier.
Patience, is a virtue.
