Mother of the bride dresses

My mom is very short, 4'11/5' , I think she would look awkward in a floor length gown, she is also very young, 43, anyone have any suggestions? What is your mom wearing?

There are many styles out there that are 'young' mother of the bride looks. Not many are older looking anymore. Many of the bridal salons carry MOB dresses, or Sugarplums and Metamorphis....many places.

We have been to 7..thats right 7 different bridal shops already...everything is floor length..and its just not right..
