my cousins sunset harbor wedding review

my cousin had her reception at sunset harbor in east patchogue tonight. the food at the cocktail hour was good and there was plenty of it. the service was very friendly and attentive and joked with the guests which was great.

the main course was a choice of chicken champagne
salmon will a dill sauce
smothered pork chops
prime rib

i had the prime rib and i have to say it was one of the best meals i have had at a wedding in a really long time. it was served with piped pottoes and green beans both were good.

my dh had the chicken which was done in a chapagne mushroom sauce and was also excellent

again the service was good.

there were trays of pastry for dessert and the wedding cake was a chocolate cassata cake.
the place was very pretty and im told it was just re done not to long ago.
tommy tunes was her dj and they did a good job keeping the crowd going.

I would love to see any pics of the place redone. I booked in Feb and they said they were doing renovations and I'm anxious to see!

i have a few pics of them room that i will done load. the lobby was redone with light colored marble tile. the room we were in also looked new and had doors that opned up into a back area with dock views. it would be very pretty in the warmer months. i have to done load some pics and post them later.


but the food was great you have nothing to worry about


i had 2 cousins and 2 aunts that got married there and the weddings were always nice.
