For those booked at Secrets Excellence Riviera Maya

I just heard from a TA that the first floor rooms are all flooded, 3 of the restaurants are badly damaged, and the beach is pretty much destroyed.

Most of the hotels in the area hope to be operating again by December/January with full swing hopefully by Spring.

I was here in Aug 2006 and everything was perfect. Unless something else has happened since i dont think you will have a problem

I just got so nervous when I read this, but now realize that it is a post from 2005!!! ERC is completely renovated and from what the reviews report, it's better than before. Have fun and definitely post a review when you return! We are going for our HM next April
