Bridal Reflections in Massapequa

Has anyone purchased a gown from bridal reflections in Massapequa? How is the selection there?

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa

I bought my dress there. I thought that their selection was really good. I really didn't have an idea of what I wanted, but the people there really helped me to see what looks good on my body type. I had a really great experience there!

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa

It was the first (and worst experience) I had bridal gown shopping with my mom. Be prepared to NOT be allowed to browse in their store, they bring the dresses to you. Though some people may be comfortable and okay with that, I was not. The lady who helped me (and maybe she was having a bad day) only showed me 5 dresses or so and then when I didnt like any of them she pretty much told me that they obviously did not have anything I liked. My response to her was that she didnt know me for more than a total of 5 min., how was she to know what I liked and didnt like. I just dont agree with not letting the customer walk around and look to see what the store carries. (And the close their dresses in a closet so that you can't see them either) As you can tell, I personally had a negative expereince with them and for that reason will not recommend them.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa

I bought my dress from them. I actually have had a great experience to date. I had gone to a different salon where I found my dress. I was going to buy it from them, but was not confident in their alterations b/c of a bad experience I had in the past and b/c they tore out all the labels in their wedding dresses (Which is illegal). So I went to BR-Massapequa and spoke with Christi about seeing the dress elsewhere and she brought the dress out for me (to make sure it was the same one) and even said she'd see what she could do on the price (b/c it was less at the other store). I made an appt to try the dress on, when I went for the appt (with the same girl--she was SO helpful) she had brought out other gowns by the same designer, just in case. I ended up going with my original choice. I made ANOTHER appt to show my bridal party, mom and FMIL. The saleslady that day (Christy wasn't in) was equally as helpful, even brought out a cathedral veil for my to try on (at my request). I went back 2 wks later and ordered my dress (w/ Christi) again with equal attention and service as previous trips. I also went to the BM side and ordered BM dresses from Jill (salesperson), she was as helpful as Christi. When my dress came in (2 mos earlier than expected) the sales girls in that area (by the evening gowns) were helpful and attentive.
FM if you have any questions.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa

I've read a lot of negative things about them on these boards. They're great (maybe) when you go to buy your dress and after it's ordered their service goes totally down hill. I would do a search on the boards to further check feeling regarding this place.

I have had a great experience so far. I went there twice and they were very cordial both times.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa

I did - I had such a great experience and I've been there many times since I've purchased my gown. I wouldn't reccommend them for veils but my experience for my gown has been really good so far.

Re: Bridal Reflections in Massapequa

I purchased my gown from the Carle Place location and I had a horrible experince with them. You can look up my post if you like its under 'Bridal Reflection nightmare'.

I personally would not purchase anything from them again, and wished I had not purchased my gown from them. HTH
