Re: American-Italian Band
Dear Future Bride, My personal band just provided the music for a wedding at Leonards of Great Neck last week with authentic Traditional Italian music (from two differenct sections of Italy) as well as all the American Dance music. I have performers who can provide the live traditional Italian music from any section of Italy. In addition-during dinner-the lead Italian singer strolled among the tables with a wireless microphone-singing Italian favorites and taking requests. The families provided specific Italian songs they wanted to hear that were important to them. They loved hearing the songs sung to them-at their tables-during dinner. The top 40 Italian or current Italian Dance music is provided by the DJ set up within my band .The bride had the best of all worlds with 6 hours of a packed dance floor. In addition she had all the live American music from Dance music to Swing and Latin. Every guest left the reception saying "the band played my kind of music" regardless of the age group or ethnic group. Three weeks prior I provided the same service for an Italian-American wedding at the Jericho Terrace. I have done this many times and it is always a success. The Italian performers from my office join my personal band. I have a 7 page questionnaire that covers every aspect of the wedding and you can totally customize the music according to your and your familiy's wishes and needs. Your wedding would be a representation of your personality. A wedding will be successful in direct proportion to the amount of preparation and planning done by both the bride and groom and the band. I am also a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants . This is what I teach in my seminars to consultants -how to think "out of the box". I am featured in the March/April 2006 issue of Bridal Guide Magazine on this topic. Last week I was interviewed by Weddings Magazine (from Better Homes And Gardens). The article in Weddings Spring 2006 issue will cover topics on what brides can do and what to look for to make the wedding music unique to their function and how to avoid "cookie cutter" weddings. This is all part of my service to the brides that use my office for their weddings. Please feel free to contact me at 631-754-0594 with any questions (or email at stan@stanwiest.com) . We are open 11 AM to 11 PM daily by appointment. I hope this answers your inquiry. You wedding should be unique to your personality and toally stress free in every aspect of the planning through the reception STAN WIEST A.STAN WIEST MUSIC Recommended by Joan Hamburg in her book "Citi Weddings" and by Maria Mc-Bride Mellinger (editor at Bride's Magazine") in her book "The Perfect Wedding Reception".
