FH & I are signed up but I didn't realize it was the same day as the breast cancer walk at Jones Beach which I am doing in honor of my BM Mom who passed away.

Did anyone go today???? We did..it was ok. We entered a few contests.

We did win a bottle of wine from the Wingate Inn..but they may just give that to everyone

I went...it was SO MUCH FUN! I went with my mom (FH had to work ) We had a blast. The contests are the best. I didn't win anything, but I definately had fun. The contests:
1. The Wedding Bling - I do not know the costs of jewelry, so I know that I came NOWHERE near guessing the showcases.
2. Bottoms Up - You have to make sangria!! My mom and I definately weren't the fastest, but we may have been the messiest!! There was wine everywhere! (Although the guy had wine spashes on his shirt before I got there)
3. Jet Set - Set a breakfast/lunch table for 4 in 90 seconds. I had to do this one alone because moms aren't allowed , must be Bride, FH, or both together. But I got it all done, and all correct!
4. Flower Power - Have to toss a BoK into a basket throwing forwards, backwards, and blindfolded. You have 2 chances with each. 6 out of 6 baby!!
5. Jumping Jack and Jill Flash - doing jumping jacks toghether....I didn't even try (plus I think you needed FH for this one)
6. Make It Bedder - Make a bed in 2 minutes....there are 20 pieces that have to go on! We did it though!!


All in all it was a blast, and I am definately going next time they have one!!

wow! 6/6 on the bouquet toss....i got 4/6, i thought that was pretty good!! we got 14.6 seconds on the sangria making....i ended up with some stains on my shirt....and 57 jumping jacks...it was actually pretty fun!!!
