Maggie Sottero Brides...Questions!

I've been looking at different designers in the magazines and the one who keeps catching my eye is Maggie Sottero. I'm going dress shopping for the first time this week and I have some questions about her designs:

1 - Do they tend to run true to size, big, or small?

2 - What is the difference between diamond white and white?

3 - What made you choose Maggie for your dress?

I'm not sure about sizing...i'm normally a 16/18 and the saleslady said I would have to order a 22/24. But I think in general all bridal gowns run small.

The saleslady told me diamond white is between white and ivory.

I love the lace up back on my dress. I like that I customize the size.

i havent tried mine on yet but im a 12/14 and i had to order an 18...but mine also is a corset back so im not to worried. Diamond white is not as stark as reg white. I picked mine because it was different from most dresss i had seen at the time..plus mine also has abit of color in it which i also like

I ordered my dress in a size 8 and I'm normally a size 4/6 in dress....size 4 top and 6 bottom. My dress has a corset back too and is fitted on top, plus the bridal shop attendant told me you should usually order 2 sizes larger for wedding gowns by maggie.

i ordered my maggie capri in an 8, but i am usually a 4 or 6. i ordered it in white, saw it only in white and ivory---i don't think mine comes in diamond white, so i don't know the diference. i love mine bc its a little couture and different looking, though i think the style of the bottom is becoming popular. the price was right for me too. ~lacey

I have a Maggie! I was totally looking for a different type of dress when I tried on a Maggie just to see how strapless looked on me. I stopped looking right then!

I love the wrap-waist - makes me look like I have one. The corset back helps make it fit right without a ton of alterations (at least for me).

The diamond white is less stark white than white white is. For me, it was hard to tell the difference until white and diamond white were right next to each other.

I got an ivory dress, though, because white and diamond white didn't look great against my skin.
