Re: Hair Extensions
I have long hair, but it's permanently straightened (Japanese straightening) so I am getting extensions put in.I went to my hair dresser, she told me what to buy, and she would apply them for my hair trial, and then take them up and use them again for the day of.
I bought 2 packages of human hair 16' for $19.99 each, and then bought 2 small bottles of glue, and 1 bottle of glue remover.
The extensions to be put in are costing me $75, and then the trial itself is going to be $65. On the day of $150 all together.
I bought the extensions from a store that sells hair products....it's in Brooklyn, Bay Ridge, I think that's a little far, for you, but there are PLENTY of places in Jackson Heights (37th Avenue) that you can go to.

That's for temporary hair extensions that last a good month or so...but the 3K might be for permanent ones? I dunno...but RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!!!!!!! That's entirely too much!

You should try Lucky's in baldwin, on grand avenue, if your looking in nassau. I'm not sure what texture your hair is but, they supply good lenghts, and colors for all types of hair. I myself am of Jamaican, and Trinidadian descent but my hair is very long but thin, when I want a more full look thats were I buy my hair. And might I add I see them supply people of all backgrounds w/ hair

Just so you know you do not need the hair remover stuff. I get them in all the time and they come out with conditioner. You cant use conditioner in your hair at all......
They usually last a week or so if you do not wash your hair every day. They start to come up on the ends but if your good you can touch them up yourself.
Good Luck!!! Lots of fun!!

Thanks for the information! I don't plan on having them in long at all! For the trial, hairdresser is taking them out the next day, and for the day of - ripping them out that night! I am totally skeeved if I don't wash my hair!!!! Thank You!
