Fall Brides, anyone for that matter....I need your help! WITH PIC!

So, this is my snag 2 weeks before the wedding:

The centerpiece bases I wanted are not available, so now my mom has gone and turned everything upside down and suggested pumpkin centerpieces again, after she convinced me not to do them.

The room is soft pastel colors, and we thought nice ivory roses and hydrangea with some green berries would look nice, and the sample was beautiful.

So here's my problem, do I scrap the centerpiece I saw and liked, or see a pumpkin with bold colors and become even more confused?

Do you think an orange pumpkin with ivory flowers would look strange?

Or should I just try to find another base?

Please help, for my mother's sake!!!!!!

In my honest opinion...just find diff. bases. If you start rearranging the entire thing now you will want to jump off a bridge.

Being that the room is soft pastels...the original flowers you picked sound perfect. Just pick a different but neutral base...it won't matter that much, trust me!! the focal point is the flowers. If you can get a nice clear hurricane vase or something pewter or silver that should work.

Don't stress!!! It'll work out.

i TOO AM NOW STRESSING, THANKS TO MY hALL TELLING ME INCLUDED IS NICE RED ROSES.. NOT TWO roses ina vase..
I am now on a mission 2 weeks before to find something..
i wish i could set it all up my self..

I would like the base to be like the one in the pic, or something along that color line.....

where are you getting the picture from? If it is from a website, right click the pic and click on properties and where it says ADDRESS (URL), copy that address. Then go to your post and click on Insert Web Image, and paste the address into the box. Voila, that sould work.

with ivory roses i would find a new base. when i think of pumpkins i think of more fallish colored flowers

What if you try Michael's or ACMoore for the baskets and then give them to your florist? And, maybe they can take off some of the price that they gave you since they will not be supplying the vase.

if you go to my photo album under kims pics it has my pumpkin centerpiece and what it will look like but with real flowers we are using the fake pumpkins but with real flowers. I go this weekend to pick out the real flowers.
