does anyone know wherre to get low cost flowers on l.i

i need to make arrangements for my moms party on sunday and dont want to have to go to the city for the flower district. does anyone know where i can get lower cost flowers or where i can buy them in bulk?

My supermarket Shoprite has cheap flowers. I buy them almost every week. It's $7/dozen for roses.

Don't laugh but King Kullen has beautiful flowers! You can probably buy a few dozen roses (assorted colors) and mix them up for beautiful centerpieces for your mom's party!

I agree-these roses are very pretty and they also have gerber daisies and iris and lilies...very inexpensive. My shoprite gets a new delivery every other day. I go Sat. am and get the best pick.

There are also the guys that sell them for 2dox for $10, there is a farm right by my house that sells them like that and his quality is very good. I live in West Islip if you want the info on where the farm is let me know.
